Jabe Nicholson: Heaven’s timepiece
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but two of the 52 weeks of 2023 are already gone.
Sherry Ivy: A new year with new beginnings
As we enter into another new year, let us start it off by leaving behind our past hurts, regrets, and defeats. Once we do this, we can move forward to the new things that God has in store for us.
Jabe Nicholson: Stepping into the unknown
We stand at the threshold of a new year.
Sherry Ivy: Jesus is the greatest gift of all
Christmas is a time of giving, receiving and showing love. God showed His love to us by giving us the greatest Christmas gift we will ever receive: His Son Jesus.
Jabe Nicholson: Jesus and Christmas baking
Here’s your pre-Christmas riddle: What do marshmallow snowmen, sugar cookie icing, and the modern American Jesus have in common?
Sherry Ivy: God is a ‘right now’ God
It doesn’t take God a long time to do anything we need done in our lives. All we have to do is have faith that He can do it. Real faith moves past the thought that God can and into the reality that God is a right now God.
Jabe Nicholson: Doing what’s right in our own eyes
I just finished a series of daily devotionals on the book of Judges, the seventh in our Bible.
Sherry Ivy: It’s a good thing to give thanks to God
God is so good to all of us. He is constantly doing something for us at all times. That’s why it’s a good thing for us to give Him thanks, not only in the season of Thanksgiving but every day because He deserves it.
Jabe Nicholson: For heaven’s sake
Hell has been airbrushed out of America’s consciousness.
Sherry Ivy: With God’s strength you can make it
We can always depend on God’s strength to give us the strength we need to get through whatever we’re going through. Therefore, with His strength we can make it.
Sherry Ivy: There’s power in binding and loosing
God has given every Christian the authority and power to bind and loosen. However, everything that we bind and loosen must be in accordance with God’s word. So let us start today, binding up the things in our lives and loosening the Word of God.
Sherry Ivy: Take one day at a time
We should take each day as it comes and not get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. When we do this, it will keep us from worrying about tomorrow and live each day to the fullest.
Sherry Ivy: The importance of putting God first
As believers in Christ, it‘s very important for us to put God first in our lives in everything we do.
Sherry Ivy: You’re too blessed to be stressed
We are too blessed by God to allow stress to take control of our lives. Therefore, let us start today taking control of it. We can’t do it in our own strength, but we can with God’s strength
Sherry Ivy: The word of God is powerful. Speak it and see!
There is great power in the spoken word of God. When we speak it, we will see the manifestation of what we speak come to pass in our lives.
Jabe Nicholson: Heading to hell in a Porsche?
I was standing with some young people at the intersection of University and Markham in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was morning rush hour and we were welcoming commuters to a new day with signs containing Bible verses.
Sherry Ivy: A teacher’s prayer
Father in the name of Jesus, let me enter in this school year with a positive attitude. Don’t let me start it off with complaining because it’s not going to change anything. Help me to be content in whatever I’m assigned to do.
Sherry Ivy: God is faithful at all times
God has always been faithful to us, and we’re living proof of that. He was faithful to us in the past and He will continue to be faithful to us in the future.
Sherry Ivy: Stop stressing over your situation and give it to God
A lot of times we find ourselves stressing out over situations that are out of our control, when we can just give them to God. He knows how to work out our situation for good even when we can’t see the progress.
Sherry Ivy: Keep praying until you receive your answer from God
God has a set time to answer all our prayers. Sometimes He answers us immediately, and sometimes He tells us to wait. In our waiting, we have to keep praying until we receive our answer from God.
