God is our ultimate deliverer. He’s able to deliver us from whatever we’re going through if we trust Him to do it. “He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.” (Psalm 22:8) KJV
Afflictions are a part of life. They can come in the form of physical suffering, emotional pain, or a spiritual battle that makes us feel lost and overwhelmed.
During these times, we have to know that God is with us and He’s able to deliver us from all of our afflictions. “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19) KJV
We all experience trouble at various points in our lives. However, when we call out to God, He’s able to deliver us from our troubles. “And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.” (Psalm 50:15) KJV
No matter how great the storm may rage or how fierce the enemy may attack, we can rest assured that God is able to deliver us. He’s actively watching over us, guarding us from harm, and shielding us from any potential dangers that we may not even be aware of.
“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” (Psalm 18:2) KJV
For every fear we encounter in life, we can seek God and He will deliver us from our fears. God’s deliverance from our fears allow us to live in freedom from them. “I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4) KJV
Even in the midst of our trials, we can have faith that God is merciful and is able to deliver us. “But do thou for me, O God the Lord, for thy name’s sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.” (Psalm 109:21) KJV
Breaking unwanted habits can be difficult, especially if we’ve been engaging in them for a long time. Maybe it’s biting our nails, over-eating, smoking, procrastinating, drinking, or something else. Nevertheless, we have to realize we can’t quit on our own but we can with God’s help. He’s able to deliver us from any habit that’s too hard for us. “Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help me, O Lord.” (Psalm 70:1) KJV
So be encouraged today and always remember: God is able to deliver us and He will continue to deliver us even as we grow older. “Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.” (Isaiah 46:4) NKJV
