NEW HOPE — The New Hope boys team beat West Point 77-40 on Friday to reach a record of 18-1 on the season.
LJ Hackman led the Trojans with 19 points, and Caleb Parr and Jaylen Smith each scored 13. RL Mattix scored nine, and AJ Brownlee had eight.
New Hope will host Grenada on Tuesday.
Columbus girls 61, Kossuth 35
The Columbus girls beat Kossuth 61-35 on Saturday at the Robertson’s Sportswear Lady Challenge in Booneville.
Aniya Saddler scored 25 points for the Falcons, and Nitirah Barry added eight.
Columbus (16-3) will host West Point on Tuesday.
Starkville boys 89, Greenville 52, Friday
STARKVILLE — The Starkville High boys team beat Greenville 89-52 in Friday’s home game.
Coltie Young scored 20 points for the Yellow Jackets (19-2). Forte Prater had 12, and Cameron Skinner had 11.
Starkville will play at Germantown next Friday, Jan. 31.
Starkville girls 43, Greenville 32, Friday
STARKVILLE — The Starkville girls beat Greenville 43-32 on Friday in Starkville.
Amaya Ford had 14 points for the Yellow Jackets in the victory.
West Lowndes boys 74, McAdams 48, Friday
MCADAMS — The West Lowndes boys team beat McAdams 74-48 in Friday’s road game.
Darrell Brooks led West Lowndes with 20 points. Jherquaveus Sanders added 17 for the Panthers, and Melvin Crawford had 11.
West Lowndes continues a five-game road trip by traveling to Louisville to face Nanih Waiya on Tuesday.
West Lowndes girls 73, McAdams 39, Friday
MCADAMS — The West Lowndes girls improved to 16-0 with a 73-39 win over McAdams on Friday in McAdams.
Tydajasha Hood had 19 points for the Panthers, and Marvaysha Seals scored 16.
Columbus Christian Academy boys 62, Newton County Academy 54, Friday
DECATUR — The Columbus Christian Academy boys team beat Newton County Academy 62-54 in Friday’s road game.
Lawson Studdard led the Rams again, scoring 17 points; Jonathan Peal and Dakota Shaw scored 16 points apiece.
The Rams will host Kemper Academy on Tuesday in their final regular-season home game.
Columbus Christian Academy girls 50, Newton County Academy 46, Friday
DECATUR — The Columbus Christian girls emerged with a 50-46 win over Newton County Academy on Friday in Decatur.
Kylie Emerson scored 19 points to lead the Rams. Audrey Foreman scored 13, and Morgan Whitten had nine.
Noxubee County boys 68, Aberdeen 27, Friday
MACON — The Noxubee County boys team beat Aberdeen 68-27 in Friday’s home game.
Jadakiss Williams had 25 points for the Tigers, and Dantavian Davis scored eight.
Noxubee County will face Potts Camp on the road Monday.
Noxubee County girls 51, Aberdeen 45, Friday
MACON — The Noxubee County girls beat Aberdeen 51-45 on Friday in Macon.
Nakailya Mason scored 23 points for the Tigers, and Aadijah Williams had nine.
Oak Hill Academy girls 34, Winona Christian 31, Friday
WINONA — The Oak Hill Academy girls team beat Winona Christian School 34-31 on Friday in Winona.
Rachel McLain scored 11 points for the Raiders, and Carley Wooten had 10.
Oak Hill will host Indianola Academy on Tuesday.
Hebron Christian boys 58, Grace Christian 50, Friday
LOUISVILLE — The Hebron Christian School boys team erased a 25-4 deficit and beat Grace Christian School 58-50 in Friday’s road game.
Hebron cut the Grace lead to one point at 26-25 going into the half and took the lead for good in the second half.
Dash Truman scored 19 points to lead Hebron, and Adrian Borst had 16.
Hebron will play at Newton County Academy on Tuesday in Decatur.
Pickens Academy (Ala.) boys 74, North River Christian Academy (Ala.) 34, Friday
CARROLLTON, Ala. — The Pickens Academy (Alabama) boys team beat North River Christian Academy (Alabama) 74-34 in Friday’s home game.
Seth Peeks had 19 points to lead the Pirates (12-7). Rafe Brown scored 16 points, and Charlie Pierce Wilson had 10.
Pickens Academy will face North River again Tuesday in Tuscaloosa.
