This weekend has a variety of events to choose from including a cocktail party, a piano performance and even “The Eccentricities of a Nightingale” with the Tennessee Williams Tribute! There is sure to be something for everyone.

Columbus
In collaboration with the Tennessee Williams Tribute, the Columbus Arts Council and the Columbus Community Theater are putting on performances of “The Eccentricities of a Nightingale” in the Omnova Theatre, upstairs at 502 Main St.. Shows start at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with a matinee starting at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets must be purchased in advance online or at the arts council.
Friday, Sept. 15 @ 5 p.m.
Starkville
Ivan Jackson and friends will be performing on the breezeway on Starkville’s Main Street downtown.

The Columbus Arts Council will be hosting a cocktail party starting at 5:30 p.m., leading up to the Friday showing of “The Eccentricities of a Nightingale” in the Omnova Theater upstairs. There will be a cash bar, signature Tennessee Williams cocktails and a silent auction.

Starkville
Ship Wrek and Checkmates will be performing at Rick’s Cafe, 319B MS-182. Tickets are $5 and are available online at rickscafe.net.

Caleb Shirley and Tristan Tritt will be performing at Rick’s Cafe, 319B MS-182. Tickets are $10 and are available online at rickscafe.net.

West Point
The West Point Clay County Arts Council is hosting pianist Jace Ferraez starting at 2 p.m. at the Louise Campbell Center for the Arts.
