After spending more than three months wanted by police, a Columbus man suspected in two separate shootings was arrested Monday.
David Hall, 25, is charged with aggravated assault with a weapon and accessory after the fact.
Columbus police first identified Hall, who also goes by Mac Critta, as a person of interest in a May shooting at 17th Street South. Two men were hospitalized after the shooting, with one of the victims suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
In August, a woman allegedly attempted to steal a gun from another person at Sandfield One Stop, resulting in a struggle and multiple shots to her leg. The woman, Aaja Denman, was arrested Aug. 6, and later police named Hall as a second suspect in the shooting.
CPD Public Information Officer Bryan Moore said the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office arrested Hall Monday evening. He is currently being held in Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.
