CALHOUN CITY — West Point girls basketball defeated Calhoun City, 57-39, on the road on Tuesday night.
The Green Wave (9-4) were led by Dukiana Jones, who had a game-high 17 points, one of two West Point players to finish in double digits in scoring. Malajae Robinson was the other, scoring 11 points in the win.
West Point will travel to play Noxubee County in its next game at 6 p.m. Dec. 20.

The Columbus High girls suffered a 62-36 home loss to Tupelo on Tuesday night.
MaKhya Weatherspoon led the Falcons (1-9) with 20 points in the loss, and teammate Keyonnie Brooks had 10.
Columbus will take on Louisville in its next game at 6 p.m. Friday.

TUPELO — Columbus boys basketball fell to Tupelo at home on Tuesday night, 74-45.
The Falcons (4-6) were jointly led in scoring by Jace O’Neal and Jeremiah Aaron, who both scored 11 points.
Columbus will take on Louisville in its next game at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
