STARKVILLE — The Mississippi State women’s basketball team has announced its nonconference schedule for the 2019 season.
The Bulldogs will take on power five programs Marquette and West Virginia while also participating in the Vancouver Showcase and Duel in the Desert in Las Vegas. The West Virginia contest is a part of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.
Other notable opponents include in-state foes Jackson State and Southern Miss.
The Bulldogs will open the season Nov. 4 with an exhibition against Lubbock Christian. The season opener against USM is scheduled for Nov. 9.
MSU comes into the year following its third-straight Elite Eight appearance and an SEC regular season and tournament title.
