OXFORD – Ole Miss redshirt junior ace Hunter Elliott was named a third-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association on Wednesday, the organization announced. Elliott, a Tupelo native who missed most of the previous two seasons because of an elbow injury, finished 2025 with a 10-3 record, a 2.94 ERA and 102 strikeouts.

Elliott is the fourth pitcher in program history with multiple 100-strikeout seasons and is one of five Rebels to win 10 games and strike out 100 batters in the same season.
Elliott helped lead Ole Miss to the College World Series crown as a true freshman in 2022, striking out 102 batters while becoming a mainstay in the Rebels’ rotation with Dylan DeLucia. The lefty pitched in just two games in 2023 before undergoing Tommy John surgery and missed the entire 2024 campaign. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 20th round of the 2024 MLB Draft but came back to Ole Miss and helped lead the Rebels to a 43-21 season and NCAA Tournament berth, the first for the program since 2022.
Ole Miss was the No. 10 overall seed and hosted the Oxford Regional but fell to Murray State in the regional finals. Elliott gave up one earned run against Western Kentucky in his lone regional start and pitched a scoreless ninth inning against the Racers in the finale. He has a year of eligibility remaining.
