Alabama baseball team will go to Florida State
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The University of Alabama baseball team has earned the No. 3 seed at the 2011 NCAA Tallahassee Regional, the NCAA Division Baseball Committee revealed Monday.
No. 1 seed Florida State (41-16), No. 2 seed Central Florida (38-21), and No. 4 seed Bethune-Cookman (35-22) will join Alabama at the regional. The Seminoles are the No. 5 national seed in this year’s tournament.

11-year-old boy dies in wreck
An 11-year-old boy was killed in the crash, according to Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office representatives. County fire officials said two of five occupants in the vehicle were ejected and a third was trapped in the vehicle.
