An 11-year-old boy was killed in the crash, according to Oktibbeha County Sheriff”s Office representatives. County fire officials said two of five occupants in the vehicle were ejected and a third was trapped in the vehicle.
The car was traveling north on Oktoc and overturned several times, landing against a fence on the east side of the road.
Two of the occupants walked away and two were transported to Oktibbeha County Hospital with significant injuries while one was airlifted to Tupelo. The OCSO is investigating the incident.
The car crash occurred on Oktoc Road around 3 p.m. Saturday.
