Heritage Academy baseball dominated Washington School on Tuesday evening, sweeping a doubleheader in two run-rule victories, 15-0 and 13-1.
The Patriots (12-10) saw starting pitcher Jack Ketchum throw a no-hitter in the first game, striking out five. Carson Hollis had a big day overall, recording four hits, a homer and 11 RBI overall. Charlie Fowler also hit a homer for the Pats in Game 2.
Heritage and Washington School finish off their series at 6 p.m. Thursday.

STEENS — Columbus Christian Academy baseball defeated Regents of Oxford, 16-7, on Tuesday night at home.
The Rams (5-4, 3-0 in district) scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning thanks, in part, to three RBI doubles. CCA needed just seven hits in the win, benefitting from 13 walks and two hit batters.
CCA next plays West Memphis Academy (Ark.) at 6 p.m. Thursday.

STARKVILLE — Starkville softball lost to Oxford, 13-3, in district play at home on Tuesday night in six innings.
The Yellow Jackets committed five errors defensively in the loss, giving up seven runs over the first two innings of play. The Chargers recorded 11 hits in the win.
Starkville will host Tupelo in its next game at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
