STARKVILLE – Mississippi State baseball added another freshman bat through the transfer portal this weekend.
Infielder Will Craddock announced his commitment to MSU on Instagram Friday. The soon-to-be sophomore is transferring from conference-foe South Carolina.
With the Gamecocks, Craddock hit .260 with a .832 OPS, 10 home runs and 29 RBIs. He started 51 games, and was named SEC Freshman of the week on Feb. 23.
He joins Josiah Overbeek and Brady Christman as new Bulldogs coming off their freshmen seasons. Overbeek and Christman were both freshman All-American’s at Army and Georgia Southern, respectively.
Craddock is the 10th player to make his way to MSU through the portal.
