CALEDONIA — Caledonia boys basketball took care of business on Tuesday night, defeating Aberdeen, 64-56.
Tylen Simpson led the Cavaliers (4-1) in scoring with 26 points in the win, with KJ Barnes following close behind with 18 points.
Caledonia will travel to play Sulligent (Alabama) in its next game at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Tishomingo County 54, Heritage Academy 44
Heritage Academy suffered a tough loss on Tuesday night against Tishomingo County, a 54-44 defeat.
The Patriots (2-3) kept the game relatively close overall, cutting it to single digits in the second half, but the Braves proved to be too much in the end.
Heritage Academy will be playing Houlka in the Chickasaw Challenge in its next game at 12:40 p.m. Saturday.
Winston Academy 59, Columbus Christian Academy 39
LOUISVILLE — Columbus Christian Academy struggled against Winston Academy on Tuesday evening, losing 59-39 against the Patriots.
Like in the boys game, there was a Rams player who scored 21 points in the loss, that being Satavia Watkins, who singlehandedly scored more than half of CCA’s points overall.
CCA will host Calhoun Academy in its next game at 6 p.m. Friday.

New Hope 56, Louisville 39
LOUISVILLE — New Hope boys basketball defeated Louisville, 56-39, on the road on Tuesday evening.
It was a relatively close game throughout, but the Trojans were able to maintain the lead and pull away late for a 15-plus-point victory.
New Hope will host Aberdeen in its next game at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Winston Academy 51, Columbus Christian Academy 50
LOUISVILLE — In an incredibly close game that came down literally the final second of play, Columbus Christian Academy fell in a 51-50 final to Winston Academy on Tuesday.
The Rams were led by Drake Shaw, who nearly accounted for half of CCA’s 50 points on the night, scoring 21. Mason Wright and Caleb McCarter also had solid games, scoring eight and seven points, respectively.
CCA will host Calhoun Academy in its next game at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Kosciusko 8, Columbus 0
KOSCIUSKO — Columbus boys soccer remains winless on the season, losing a 8-0 match against Kosciusko on Tuesday night.
The Falcons (0-4) have struggled offensively this year, and that remained true Tuesday as they were held scoreless.
Columbus will travel to Booneville for its next match at 7 p.m. Friday.

KOSCIUSKO — Columbus girls soccer suffered a tough 7-0 defeat against Kosciusko on the road on Tuesday night.
The Falcons (2-2) ran into a juggernaut in Kosciusko, who flat out dominated overall in the match, well-deserved winners on the day.
