OXFORD – The No. 17 Ole Miss women’s basketball team’s scheduled home matchups against No. 5 Vanderbilt on Thursday and against Auburn on Sunday have been postponed due to inclement weather, the school announced Tuesday. The matchup with the Commodores will now take place on Friday in Birmingham, Alabama at Legacy Arena at 2 p.m. while the matchup with the Tigers will take place Monday at 6 p.m. at SJB Pavilion.
Ole Miss’ scheduled matchup with No. 15 Tennessee earlier this week was also postponed. A makeup date has not yet been set.
McMahon named SEC Co-Player of the Week
Ole Miss senior guard/forward Cotie McMahon has been named the SEC Co-Player of the Week, the SEC announced Tuesday. McMahon, who has earned the weekly honor twice this season, tied her career high with 33 points and tied her season-best with 12 rebounds in the Rebels’ 82-61 victory over Missouri last Thursday. The Ohio State transfer leads Ole Miss in scoring at 19.4 points per game.
McMahon split the weekly honor with Georgia’s Dani Carnegie.
