OKTIBBEHA COUNTY — Sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects in a Sunday shooting that left two men dead.
Jordan Mitchell, 21, and Kaiden Evans, 18, both of Starkville, died after suffering multiple gunshot wounds during a shooting on Kincaid Road, Deputy Coroner Billy Miller told The Dispatch.
Oktibbeha County Sheriffs Office said in a press release the shooting occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Both victims were taken to OCH Regional Medical Center, where they died from injuries, Miller said.
OCSO identified Travis Chandler, 34, and Devon Chandler, 27, both of Starkville, as suspects in the shooting. Anyone found aiding or hiding the suspects will face charges, the press release said.
Mitchell and Evans were taken to a crime lab in Pearl to undergo autopsies, and the shooting remains under investigation.
