Ole Miss secured the commitments of two transfers on Tuesday in Kansas guard A.J. Storr and Louisville guard Koren Johnson. Both moves were first reported by On3sports.

Storr’s college basketball journey has been extensive. It started at St. John’s in 2022-23, where he averaged 8.8 points per game and shot 40.4% from three while starting 17 of 33 games. He was a three-time Big East Freshman of the Week and was named to the Big East All-Freshman Team in 2023.
Storr then transferred to Wisconsin and had a breakout year. He averaged 16.8 points a game and started all 36 games for the Badgers. Storr tested the NBA Draft waters after the season, then decided to stay in college and transferred to Kansas.
Much was expected of Storr heading into this past season. He was named to the Wooden Award Preseason Top 50 Watch List, the Naismith Trophy Player of the Year Watch List and the Julius Erving Award Watch List. However, he ended up starting just four games for the Jayhawks while averaging 6.1 points in 15.7 minutes per game.

Johnson, meanwhile, started at Washington in 2022-23 and played there for two seasons. In 2023-24, Johnson averaged 11.1 points per game and shot 37.3% from three coming off the bench. He was named the 2024 Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year for his efforts.
Johnson then transferred to Louisville ahead of this past season, but played just four games before sustaining a season-ending shoulder injury.
Storr and Johnson becomes Ole Miss’ second and third transfers this cycle, joining LSU’s Corey Chest.
