STARKVILLE — Tuesday night’s baseball game between Mississippi State and Memphis at Dudy Noble Field was canceled after two innings due to severe weather in the area.
The game was tied at one in the top of the third inning when play was suspended due to lightning in the area. The delay lasted nearly two hours before the game was officially canceled.
There will be no makeup date.
The Bulldogs (24-23) return to the diamond for this weekend’s road SEC series at No. 2 LSU, beginning Friday. First pitch is slated for 7:30 p.m. (SECN)
