STARKVILLE — Mississippi State soccer announced the arrival of another player through the transfer portal on Monday, signing veteran forward Nancy Almanza.

The DeLand, Fla., native is a Florida Elite Soccer Academy graduate. She spent two years playing at the junior college level with Eastern Florida State College before transferring to Jacksonville State. In her time with the Titans, she helped the team reach the NJCAA National Championship game, earning All-NJCAA Tournament Team honors along the way.
Almanza was named Second Team All-Conference USA last season, scoring eight goals and providing 13 assists for the Gamecocks, including goals in each of the team’s final three regular-season matches.
Almanza is the fourth addition through the transfer portal for the 2025 Bulldogs, following winter arrivals Hannah Jibril, Sarah Wommack and Elsa Johnson.
Mississippi State also signed eight players in November to its high school recruiting Class of 2025.
