We need experienced, tried and tested leadership to move our city of Columbus, Mississippi, the Friendly City, in a new direction! We are definitely at a crossroads, Columbus, on so many levels, and it will be up to us on April 1st to chart a new course. We can no longer keep doing the same things with the same people and expect different results at City Hall. Either we have leaders with the expertise, education, proper training and effective policy-making skills, or we don’t. Practically speaking, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that the lack of leadership and the ability to work along with others is what is missing in our chain of command structure at City Hall, and there are more minuses than pluses within this administration that have become too argumentative, combative, stagnated and regressive and is holding our city hostage and from moving forward like Starkville, West Point and Tupelo. You are able to work along with others when you do the right thing. Lead by example! Columbus, we need a better plan of action, a more positive image and an experienced and visionary leader who can implement his plan by not being afraid to make the tough calls whenever and wherever necessary.
