A missing teenager was found safe Tuesday afternoon, Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Tony Cooper said in an email to The Dispatch.
LCSO initially issued a press release Tuesday morning requesting the public’s help with finding Jazmin McDonald, 16, and her foster father, Clarence Stockman. Neither had been seen since about 11 p.m. Sunday.
While McDonald was found, Stockman still has not been located. As for his location, Cooper said it seems to be a matter of a marital situation.
“Now that the child has been found, we’re stepping back from it pending the interview of the child,” Cooper told The Dispatch.
