Starkville and Oktibbeha County municipal offices have released their schedules for the holiday season.
Starkville offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for Christmas. Oktibbeha County offices will close Wednesday and Thursday.
For New Year’s, city offices will be closed Jan. 1, and county offices will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1.
The Starkville Sanitation Department will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for Christmas. Regular garbage collection will resume Thursday. Only Thursday’s route will be collected. The recycling center will also be closed on those days and will resume regular operation hours from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday.
Oktibbeha County’s garbage collection, which is managed by Golden Triangle Waste Services, will be closed Wednesday, delaying pickup by one day. If your garbage is collected on Wednesday, it will be picked up on Thursday and so on.
The Dispatch will publish its Christmas edition on Tuesday and will not print another edition until Thursday. Our offices will be closed Wednesday for Christmas.
