COLUMBUS – A fire early Sunday morning at a Northside home sent one resident to the hospital for burns.
Columbus Fire and rescue responded at about 4 a.m. to the fire at 1614 Seventh Ave. N., Chief Duane Hughes said. He reported the blaze was under control within the hour.
A resident was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle for burn treatment, Hughes added.
Hughes said he believes the fire started in the front living room. Its cause is being investigated.
