WEST POINT – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a teenager who went missing on the way to a behavioral health clinic in Louisville.
Aiden Elkins, 16, was last seen Tuesday in Louisville while being driven to Diamond Grove Center, a children’s behavioral health clinic, West Point Police Chief Michael Edwards said.
He was last seen wearing a pink Mossy Oak hoodie, grey sweat pants and grey Nike shoes, the press release said.
Elkins is a white male who is 6 feet, 3 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds.
Edwards said the WPPD is assisting the Louisville Police Department in searching for Elkins.
While officers have received leads in his case, they have not been able to locate Elkins and he is still considered a missing person, Edwards said.
“(Finding Elkins) is very important,” Edwards said. “… Whether it’s children, elderly people, or whatever the case might be, it’s important that we locate (missing people) … so we can get these people back to their prospective places.”
Anyone with information regarding Elkins whereabouts is asked to call WPPD at (662) 494-1244 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at (800) 530-7151.
