STARKVILLE — A Starkville woman was killed Saturday while walking across Highway 12 at the North Jackson Street intersection.
Linda Bardwell, 73, was struck by a vehicle around 7:30 p.m. She was taken to OCH Regional Medical Center, where she later died from her injuries, Oktibbeha County Corner Michael Hunt said.
The death has been ruled accidental, Hunt told The Dispatch on Monday.
