STARKVILLE — An Aberdeen man was charged with a misdemeanor after firing a gun in the air Sunday at the Sonic Drive-In at 913 Hwy. 12 W. near Walmart.
Orlando Rice, 23, turned himself in to Starkville police and was charged with discharging a firearm in the city limits. He is accused of firing a single gunshot into the air while two people with whom he is associated were having an argument, a police department press release said. The two arguing were siblings.
No one was reported injured, SPD Public Information Officer said.
