Police arrested a man Saturday for allegedly attacking a female with a pocket knife.
Jarvis Jennings, 37, is charged with aggravated domestic violence, Columbus Police Department Public Information Officer Bryan Moore told The Dispatch.
Officers responded at about 2:11 p.m. Saturday to the 3200 block of Highway 50 East in reference to a stabbing. Jennings was booked into Lowndes County Adult Detention Center roughly three hours later, jail records indicate.
Moore said the victim was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle for treatment of her injuries.
