Mario Pachecazno Buenrostro, 44, is currently in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement after pleading guilty in the Lowndes County Circuit Court to one count of fondling.
Pachecazno is accused of fondling a minor under the age of 16 and was sentenced to 15 years in prison, with three years and four months to serve and 11 years and eight months suspended. Pachecazno has already served three years and four months.
Because he is in the United States illegally, he has been remanded to ICE and will be deported to Mexico. If he illegally re-enters the United States, he will have to serve the 11 years and eight months in addition to federal charges accrued when illegally immigrating.
Other guilty pleas during the circuit court session included:
■ Willie Morton, 34, sexual battery, 15 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections;
■ Karlo Lane, 33, robbery, 15 years in MDOC, seven years suspended;
■ Dennis Lovelace, 29, aggravated assault, 10 years in MDOC, five years suspended;
