STARKVILLE — Mississippi State’s Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Aquaculture celebrated outstanding students at the annual College of Forest Resources awards ceremony, honoring undergraduate and graduate students for academic excellence and leadership.
The department is dedicated to training the next generation of wildlife and fisheries leaders. CFR graduates are making a difference in nature and society.
Honored students include Grant Peterson, a senior from Starkville, who received the Outstanding Undergraduate Award, Senior Academic Achievement Award and a 2023 Udall Scholarship and Emma Shultz, a doctoral student from Starkville, who received the Student Leadership Recognition Program Award.
