Police have two suspects in custody in connection with a Friday shooting in East Columbus that left one victim injured.
Kenzall Guyton and Jakorey Gibbs, both 18 of Columbus, were arrested over the weekend. Columbus Police Department is seeking a third suspect.
Guyton, who is charged with conspiracy to commit a crime, turned himself in Sunday morning, according to a CPD press release. Gibbs, charged with armed robbery, was arrested Friday night.
CPD is asking for the public’s assistance finding LeWayne Robertson, 20, who is wanted for armed robbery and attempted murder.
Officers responded to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle at noon Friday in response to a 25-year-old male victim with gunshot wounds to the face and arm, according to a CPD press release issued Friday evening. The victim was airlifted out of the area for further medical care.
Police have not released any more details about the investigation.
