A man suffered severe injuries after a shooting Sunday morning.
The victim sustained a single gunshot wound to the upper leg and was taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle for treatment, according to a Columbus Police Department press release.
He was shot outside of a home at about 9:32 a.m. in the 1700 block of 14th Avenue North. Public Information Officer Bryan Moore could not confirm if it was the victim’s home.
Moore said he believed the injury is life-threatening, though he did not know the victim’s condition as of late Sunday afternoon.
