Columbus and Lowndes County municipal offices have released their schedules for the holiday season.
Both offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for Christmas and Jan. 1 for New Year’s.
Garbage collection in both the city and county is managed by Golden Triangle Waste Services, which will be closed Wednesday. Collection will be delayed by one day, so if your garbage is collected on Wednesday, it will be picked up on Thursday and so on.
The Dispatch will publish its Christmas edition on Tuesday and will not print another edition until Thursday. Our offices will be closed Wednesday for Christmas.
