Bonita Smith and Joe M Stevenson V of Caledonia exchanged vows at 2 p.m. Sept. 28, 2024, at E & B Ranch in Caledonia, with Robert Hamilton Sr. officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. O.C. Smith Jr. of Columbus. She is the granddaughter of the late Lena Brooks.
The couple will reside at E & B Ranch in Caledonia.
The bride was given in marriage by her daughters, Chelsey Ray and Alexxa Warren. She wore a western-themed, boho bridal fringe wedding gown with white Stetson cowboy hat and off-white cowboy boots.
Dr. Bobbie Walker Trussell of Hattiesburg, best friend of the bride, served as matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Linda Lang of Columbus and Rosie Moore of Hoover, Alabama. They wore black mini tulle skirts with blue denim shirts, cowboy hats and cowboy boots.
Ryleigh Hamilton served as the flower girl.
The groom is the son of the late Emma and Joe “Buddy” Stevenson of Columbus. He is the grandson of the late Robert and Mattie Stevenson.
Both the bride and groom are retired.
Joe M Stirn, son of the groom, served as best man.
Groomsmen were Earl Lee and Curtis Moore.
