Jesus will never fail us no matter what we encounter in life because He can do all things but fail. Therefore, let us trust Him to do it and stop trying to do it ourselves. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5) NLT
In this life we will have many trials and tribulations. Some of them may be so severe that we will feel like giving up. However, there is nothing we can do to avoid them from coming into our lives. When we have done all we know to do and it failed, try Jesus. He will give us peace in Him in the midst of it all. “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” (John 33:16) KJV
Sometimes when problems come our way, our first reaction is to try to solve them ourselves. We try this and we try that and yet nothing seems to work. In times like these, we have to know when everything else fails, we need to try Jesus. He is always working for our good. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” (Roman 8:28) NIV
Have you been working on your job for a long time, doing everything in your means to prove you deserve a raise but haven’t received it yet? Don’t get discouraged; when everything else you tried failed, try Jesus. He will give you an increase in your pay and your children too. “The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.” (Psalm 115:14) KJV
When we try to make plans for our lives and they don’t go as planned we get frustrated. Nevertheless, when everything else fails us we can try Jesus. His plan and purpose for our lives will never fail. They are much greater than our own. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11) NIV
Some of us have been battling with some serious illnesses for years now and has tried many doctors, but instead of feeling better, we’re feeling worse. During these times, we have to realize when everything else we have tried fails, we need to try Jesus. He can heal any sickness when we cry out to Him. “O Lord my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.” (Psalm 30:2) KJV
So be encouraged today and always remember, when everything else fails, we can always try Jesus. He is all powerful and cannot fail us. “Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit.” (Psalm 147:5) NIV
