The Columbus-Lowndes Public Library System (CLPLS) will host its annual family-friendly Haunted Library on Oct. 26 from 4-6 p.m. Haunted Library is free and open to the public and includes games and activities for all ages.

“We’re excited to host our yearly Haunted Library event, and we will continue to provide activities for children, teens and adults,” said Tori Hopper, children’s and teen services and program coordinator at CLPLS. “We encourage our community to arrive in costume and enjoy fair-style games, a Halloween bookmark craft and refreshments.”
Haunted Library at the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library serves to provide a space for the community to come together for Halloween for a family-friendly event. Mother Goose conducts several story times throughout the evening, while a craft is offered in the library’s large meeting room.
Participants will have the opportunity to decorate their own Halloween bookmark and can enjoy a variety of fair-style games. The first-floor games will include monster can toss, a cemetery ring toss, a “guess the fake body part” challenge and a specific mystery challenge for teens and adults to be held in the library’s story hour room.
