Boy, 14, shoots at 90-year-old in robbery attempt
BROOKSVILLE — A Brooksville 14-year-old who tried to force his way into a 90-year-old woman’s home to rob her — and failing at that, trying to shoot her — was arrested by Brooksville police.
“We had a possible burglary and shooting (but) no one hurt,” said Brooksville Police Chief Tina Williams.
Chisolm follows brothers to EMCC to play soccer
For the past six years, the East Mississippi Community College men’s soccer program has gotten contributions from a trio of Chisolm brothers.
First there was Matt from 2004-05 and he was followed by Todd from 2006-07.

Starkville’s Harris was MVP at EMCC
STARKVILLE — It didn’t take long for Randall Bradberry to discover James “Cubby” Harris’ talent.
When Bradberry became the football coach at what was known then as East Mississippi Junior College in 1976, he didn’t know much about the recruits who were coming in for the fall season. Bradberry arrived at Scooba from Delta State and admitted he was “out of the loop.”
