Starkville’s First United Methodist Church has begun accepting applications from vendors wanting to participate in its 16th Holiday Handcrafts Bazaar.
The bazaar, which is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 14, focuses on handmade artworks such as pottery, paintings, jewelry, home décor and utensils, quilts and other textile arts, and non-sweet food products.
Vendors will set up inside the church’s Christian Life Center and will be provided with an 8-foot-by-8-foot booth, a 6-foot table, a chair and electricity as needed. The vendor fee is $50, with adjoining booths available for an additional $50. Additional tables will be provided for $10 each. Vendors are also asked to donate a door prize.
Applications from returning vendors should be submitted by Aug. 1. Applications from potential new vendors should be submitted by Sept. 1. Early applicants who meet vendor criteria will be prioritized for the limited number of spaces available.
An application for potential new vendors is available on the church website at first-umc.org. For additional information, contact Sarah Everitt at (601) 613-9085 or [email protected].
As in past years, the church will be selling pre-ordered casseroles and baked goods at the bazaar, along with sandwiches and soup for lunch. All proceeds will go to church missions.
