Mississippi State’s string of late games will end soon.
The Bulldogs (2-0) will kick off against Bowling Green (0-2) at 11 a.m. Sept. 24 from Davis Wade Stadium, the Southeastern Conference announced Monday.
The game will be broadcasted on the SEC Network.
MSU first takes on LSU at 5 p.m. Saturday on ESPN.
The Bulldogs are off to a strong start, defeating Memphis and Arizona in their first two games of 2022.
Sharp earns SEC weekly honor — again
Mississippi State center LaQuinston Sharp was named the SEC co-offensive lineman of the week for the second straight time and the third time overall.
The Columbus native played 78 snaps — the most of any center in the conference — and did not allow a single pressure on quarterback Will Rogers.
Sharp had the highest pass blocking grade on the Bulldogs’ offensive line at 86.2. He also cleared the way for 59 rushing yards up the middle.
Sharp shared the weekly award with Arkansas center Ricky Stromberg.
