STARKVILLE — Another day, another accolade to add to the resume of senior quarterback Will Rogers.
ESPN released its ranking of the top 100 college football players for the 2023 season, and Mississippi State’s expected starter under center cracked the list, earning a top-50 ranking at No. 36.
The website called the Brandon native, “the most accomplished passer in the SEC,” something Bulldog fans expect Rogers to demonstrate again this season.
In terms of Southeastern Conference achievements, Rogers is on pace to become the league’s all-time leading passer by season’s end, and he’s already set the all-time completion record.
With 18 more touchdown passes thrown, he’ll become the third player ever in the SEC to throw for 100 passing touchdowns or more in a career.
