OXFORD – Ole Miss guard Ilias Kamardine will return to the Rebels for the 2026-27 season, On3’s Joe Tipton reported Tuesday. Kamardine was granted an additional year of eligibility last month, per Tipton.
The 6-foot-5, 185-pound guard from France played professional basketball in his home country prior to joining the Rebels for the 2025-26 season. Kamardine averaged 11.3 points per game – good for third-highest on the team – and scored at least 10 points in seven of the Rebels’ last 10 games. He scored a season-high 26 points against LSU.
Ole Miss finished the season 15-20, winning three games in three days at the SEC Tournament to advance to the tournament semifinals. The Rebels lost to eventual tournament champion Arkansas in overtime.
