STARKVILLE — Starkville Academy softball run-ruled Heritage Academy 19-4 in just three innings Thursday in Starkville.
Ali Grace Williams led the Volunteers with five runs driven in, while Calliope Koiva and Browning Hughes each had four RBIs.
Williams led with three hits, while Koiva and Heritage Academy’s Sara Kate Thompson each had two.
The Patriots will host Pillow Academy at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, while the Vols will play at Kemper Academy at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Kemper Academy 13, Oak Hill Academy 9
WEST POINT — Oak Hill Academy lost to Kemper Academy 13-9 on Thursday in West Point.
Morgan Dabbs went 3 for 4 and had four runs batted in for the Raiders in the losing effort.
Carley Wooten was 3 for 5 with an RBI.
Oak Hill Academy plays at Hebron Christian on Tuesday in Pheba.
