NEW HOPE — New Hope softball stayed hot with a 10-5 win over Hamilton on Friday in New Hope.
The Trojans had 16 hits, including three apiece for Charly Clanton, Zoe Goodman and Katelyn Humphreys. Goodman and Humphreys each drove in two runs for New Hope (4-0).
Reagan Cook pitched four innings, and Clanton pitched three. Each struck out two batters.
The Trojans host Caledonia at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Eupora 8, Caledonia 6, Friday
CALEDONIA — Caledonia suffered its first loss of the season, falling 8-6 to Eupora at home Friday.
The Confederates (3-1) will play at New Hope on Tuesday.
