GULF SHORES, Ala. — New Hope baseball wrapped up its week at the Gulf Shores Classic in Gulf Shores, Ala. with an 8-6 win over Maryville (TN) on Wednesday.
The Trojans (10-4) were led in a comeback victory by Drew Hudgins and Sam Malone, each recording two hits and two RBIs. Caiden Chain scored two runs and stole three bases for New Hope.
On the mound, Sam Malone scattered four hits and allowed one run and struck out four in four strong innings.
New Hope travels to play West Point in its next game at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
