Columbus baseball run-ruled Kemper County, 18-5 in three innings, at home on Monday night.
The Falcons barely needed to take the bat off their shoulders against the Wildcasts, benefitting from 21 walks from Kemper County pitching, needing just one hit on the day.
Two Columbus players, Destin Poindexter and Davion Henderson, each scored three runs, as six players scored multiple runs in the win. Every starter scored at least one run for the Falcons in the win.
Columbus will host Philadelphia in its next game at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Oak Hill Academy wins Jackson Academy Invitational
JACKSON — Oak Hill Academy golf won the Jackson Academy Invitational with a combined score of 278.
Collins Trolio and Jacob Blanton led all golfers on the day as both shot a 67. The Raiders finished 22 shots above Lamar School, who finished in second place.
OHA will next return to the golf course on March 27, playing at Indian Hills CC in Tuscaloosa, Ala. in a tournament hosted by Tuscaloosa Academy (Ala.)
