The Heritage Academy boys basketball team put an end to a 29-game winning streak for visiting Tuscaloosa Academy with a 67-48 win on Friday in Columbus.
Whit Altmyer led the Patriots with 16 points. Jack Ketchum scored 12, and Trey Naugher had 11.
Heritage Academy will begin play at its district tournament at Winston Academy next week.

Heritage Academy 43, Tuscaloosa Academy 34, Friday
The Heritage Academy girls beat Tuscaloosa Academy 43-34 in Friday’s home game.
Lucy Sharp led the Patriots with 13 points. Chloe Boyd had 10, and Taylor Wheeler and Kaicey Chitmon had nine each.
The Patriots will play Lamar School at 3 p.m. Tuesday in their district tournament opener in Louisville.
Noxubee County 43, New Hope 42, Friday
MACON — The Noxubee County girls pulled out a 43-42 win over New Hope on Friday in Macon.
Na’Kaiyla “Tootie” Lockett led the Tigers with 22 points and added three rebounds and a steal. Jakeia Walker had 13 points, five rebounds and three steals, and Aaliyah Brandy had seven points, 10 rebounds and a block.
For New Hope, Anna Prince led with 15 points. Madyson McBrayer scored 13, and Taylor Brownlee had nine.
Noxubee County 58, Louisville 56
MACON — The Tigers got their second straight close win Saturday, beating Louisville 58-56 at home.
Lockett had 25 points, two steals and four blocks for Noxubee County. Walker had 17 points, eight rebounds and four steals, and Brandy had three points, nine rebounds and two steals.
Noxubee County’s next game will be Tuesday at Neshoba Central in Philadelphia.
West Lowndes 54, French Camp Academy 23, Friday
FRENCH CAMP — The West Lowndes girls beat French Camp Academy 54-23 in Friday’s road game.
Averi Sanders scored 15 points to lead the Panthers, and Tydajasha Hood added 12.
West Lowndes will play Tuesday at Ethel.
Columbus Christian Academy 54, Hebron Christian 29, Friday
STEENS — The Columbus Christian Academy girls improved to 15-1 with a 54-29 home win over Hebron Christian on Friday.
Taylor Tipton scored 16 points to lead the Rams. Audrey Foreman had nine, and CC DeVos and Morgan Whitten each had seven.
For the Eagles, Elisha Carter had 13 points, and Amber Wedel had eight.
Both teams will play in the district tournament on Tuesday at Newton County Academy.
Pontotoc 72, Caledonia 24, Friday

New Hope 56, Noxubee County 54, Friday
MACON — The New Hope boys eked out a road win Friday at Noxubee County, 56-54.
Jorden Edwards scored 15 points for the Trojans. LJ Hackman and Caleb Parr each had 12, and Ty Crowell had eight.
New Hope will host Caledonia on Tuesday.
Pontotoc 70, Caledonia 38, Friday
CALEDONIA — The Caledonia boys lost Friday’s home game to Pontotoc, 70-38.
Jarvis Leigh scored 18 points to lead the Cavaliers, and Jeremy Emerson had 10.
Kameron Young and Brenden Shows had three points apiece, and Ja’Von Hopkins and Issac Grady both had two.
Aberdeen 56, West Point 36
WEST POINT — The West Point boys lost Saturday’s home game to Aberdeen, 56-36.
Elijah Young led the Green Wave with 14 points, and Steven Moore had nine. Tylan Wicks added five points, and Lebron Lewis had four.
West Point will play Monday at Columbus.
Grenada 65, West Point 44, Friday
WEST POINT — The West Point boys also dropped Friday’s home district game against Grenada, 65-44.
Young had 14 points for West Point, and Lewis had 10. Wicks scored seven for the Green Wave, and Tallie Webber had five.
Hebron Christian 43, Columbus Christian Academy 28, Friday
STEENS — The Hebron boys beat Columbus Christian 43-28 in Friday’s game in Steens.
Dash Turman led Hebron with 18 points. Doug Loden had nine, and Jon Garrett Lowe had eight.
Joe Michael Edwards had eight points for the Rams, and Ben Campbell had six.
Pickens Academy (Ala.) 71, Southern Academy (Ala.) 63
GREENSBORO, Ala. — The Pickens Academy (Alabama) boys beat Southern Academy (Alabama) 71-63 in Friday’s road game.
Rafe Brown led the Pirates with 18 points. Hayden Dyer had 17, William Parker had 14, and Drake Lowery had nine.
As the No. 2 seed in AISA area play, Pickens will play at Coosa Valley Academy at 4 p.m. Monday for a trip to the state elite eight in Montgomery.
