Stevenson averaged a team-high 14.5 points per game for the Golden Eagles in 2021-22, leading the way with 7.5 rebounds per game as well. He had nine double-doubles for USM.
The 6-foot-8 forward had previously committed to Illinois–Chicago but decided to flip to Mississippi State.
He joins Oregon State guard Dashawn Davis, Albany guard Jamel Horton, Southeast Missouri guard Eric Reed, Jr. and New Mexico State big man Will McNair Jr. in the Bulldogs’ transfer class.
MSU returns forwards Tolu Smith, D.J. Jeffries and Ke’Shawn Murphy as well as guard Shakeel Moore and guard/forward Cameron Matthews. Freshmen Kimani Hamilton and Martavious Russell also enter the program.
