Another Mississippi State wide receiver is leaving Starkville.
Rufus Harvey, MSU’s leading pass-catcher last season, has entered the transfer portal, according to multiple reports.
Harvey, a Starkville native, led the Bulldogs with 53 receptions last fall, finishing with 505 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Harvey, a redshirt senior, spent three years at MSU, redshirting in 2020, Rufus harveytallying 58 total receptions for 544 yards and four touchdowns. He will have two years of eligibility remaining at his new program.
Harvey, a former three-star prospect in MSU’s 2020 class, did not participate during spring football sessions due to an undisclosed injury.
He is the sixth MSU wideout to enter the transfer portal since the end of the 2022 season.
