STARKVILLE — Mississippi State women’s soccer announced another signing from the 2023 class on Wednesday as Zoe Main is set to join the Bulldogs this fall.
Main is listed as a three-star recruit according to Top Drawer Soccer, and is a transfer from Oklahoma, where she was an early enrollee during the Spring 2023 semester.
She brings with her four years of eligibility after a sterling prep career.
“Zoe is a huge addition to our front line,” Mississippi State head coach James Armstrong said. “Her pace, strength, tenacity and nose for goal will add another element to our attacking play. This was the icing on the cake for a tremendous transfer window after a lot of hard work by the coaching staff.”
Main, who is from Missouri City, Texas, ranked as the No. 32 prospect in the state for the 2023 class. She earned First-Team All-District honors three times during her high school career at Ridge Point, and was named to the First-Team All Region team and awarded District Co-Offensive Player of the Year in 2021.
Her 2022 season at Ridge Point saw her score a school-record 32 goals, helping her earn district MVP and First-Team All-State honors.
Mississippi State looks to build off a historic 2022 season where the Bulldogs earned their first NCAA tournament victory, and additional attacking strength will help a team that scored 28 total goals last season.
