OXFORD — Ole Miss officially reeled one of its biggest fish in recent memory.
Choctaw County star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham — a five-star recruit and a
consensus top-five wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class — officially signed with
the Rebels Tuesday on the first day of the early signing period. Cunningham was
previously committed to Alabama.
Cunningham is the highest-rated member of Ole Miss’ latest signees, which is
currently ranked the No. 14 class nationally by 247Sports. The Rebels have officially
signed 19 players — including four wide receivers, three offensive
linemen and five defensive backs.
“I think this is our best class. I’m not just saying that. I think this is our best class
since we’ve been here of high school players,” Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said.
“I think that’s the product of a lot of things — assistant coaches working really
hard, doing a really good job, really good general manager … and I think that that’s
a product of now a lot of winning seasons. Because these guys went into high
school and all they’ve done is see us win.”
