Mississippi State continues to add major size to its 2024 football recruiting class.
Kison Shepard, a three-star offensive tackle, was the latest recruit to commit to the Bulldogs after announcing his decision Monday afternoon over his social media pages.
Shepard, listed at 6-foot-5, 315 pounds, chose the Bulldogs over Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M, among other offers.
Shepard, from Germantown High School in Germantown, Tennessee, is rated the No. 1,239 player and 99th offensive tackle in the 2024 recruiting class, per 247sports Composite.
Shepard became the third offensive tackle to commit to MSU’s 2024 class, joining fellow three-stars TJ Lockhart and Luke Work.
MSU’s 2024 class, which was rated 29th in college football ahead of Shepard’s commitment, also includes four-stars Terrance Hibbler (DL) and Josh Flowers (QB), as well as three-stars Fred Clark (LB), Xavier Gayten (RB), Caleb Dozier (ATH), Matt Mayfield (WR) and Jay Lindsey (TE).
