KNOXVILLE, Tn. — Mississippi State graduate student Hunter Logan hopes last weekend was the first of many individual trophies for him in his Bulldogs career.
Logan won his first collegiate title, finishing 11-under-par at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate over the weekend in Tennessee, the third overall tournament he’s won since the start of the summer.
Shooting back-to-back 66s in the final two rounds of the event paced the individual leaderboard and helped him bring home hardware.
As a team, the Bulldogs finished third at 13-under, but it was a historic round from Logan, shooting 199, the fifth-lowest 54-hole score by any golfer in program history, that was the highlight of the weekend.
